Sam Lyle's Research Group

[Dr Samuel James Lyle took up a lectureship in radiochemistry at Durham in 1958, resigning in 1965 to take up a lectureship in Canterbury at the University of Kent. In July 2019, the Royal Society of Chemistry's June issue of Update reported on page 7 the death in 2019 on February 12 of a MRSC member, Professor Samuel James Lyle aged 87, formerly of the University of Petroleum and Minerals.]

(i.e. on October 1 started an M.Sc. study period of 12 months full-time); 1961 Mary G. Brown and Abur R. Sani Ph.D.s; 1962 Muhammad M. Rahman and Arum D. Shendrikar and Roger Wellum [final 9 months at Kent, Durham registration retained] Ph.D.s; 1963 Syed Naqvi and Keith Randle and John Sellars Ph.D.s [final 9 months at Kent, Durham registration retained].
