How to Contribute

  1. Choose how to contribute text and media. You could send a letter to the address below. Or you could email a contribution to
  2. We will check for historical and scientific typos and for obvious repetition; we will then upload the material on your behalf, showing your name as contributor unless you request otherwise.
  3. Tell us about inaccuracies you detect and we will do our best to remove them.
  4. Spread the word to friends and colleagues. To gather a few of them for a day or so at Durham, alert the Department's alumni contact through the email or postal address on this page. The Department can help you to find accommodation and arrange venues.

Any hard-copy enclosures, such as photographs or text, will be copied for uploading; the enclosures will be returned to the address from which the letter was sent.
